Having recently celebrated its 49th anniversary, the Daemen University DPT program in New York State has a legacy of success for its students. With a job growth rate of 17% nationwide and 28% in NYS, our faculty take their jobs of preparing our students very seriously. Clinical education is a crucial aspect of the curriculum, with students completing 4, 9-week internships in physical-therapy settings and conducting clinical-based research. Students with a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with minimum overall and science GPAs of 2.8, may apply to enter directly into the professional phase of the entry-level DPT program.
In Daemen’s direct-entry DPT program, you’ll participate in 4, 9-week internships in multiple areas of physical therapy, including pediatric, adult neurology, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic rehab settings.
